Prioritize first Aid at work places as a life saving tool–Uganda Recross Society.

Government is appealing to employers to start conducting in-house first aid training as a life saving tool most especially in factories and high risk places of work.
This was disclosed by Hon. Davinia Esther Anyakun, the Minister of State for Gender, Labour and Social Development (Labor, as she presided over the launch of the First Aid Blended Learning (FABL) App — a digital innovation designed to make first aid training more accessible, flexible, and inclusive,.
The application launched by Uganda Redcross Society with support from the Government of Belgium combines  online learning with hands-on practical sessions.
According to Minister. Davinia Esther Anyakun, various monitoring teams have expressed concerns over injuries at places of work and urged first aid training to be made a priority.
The Secretary General Uganda Redcross Society Robert Kwesiga says priorising Education and sensitisation on first aid is the most effective way of managing injuries and saving lives .
