This despite government setting up a number of policies to enable
farmers earn from their produce.
This revelation was made during the ongoing engagement of the Ministry of Agriculture,partners and scientists discussing the domesticating of soil fertilizers and soil health action plan being held in Kampala.
However, DR. Kayuki Kaizzi a soil scientist at NARO says the problem is due to farming practices which is affecting fertilizer usage in Uganda.
