The Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Joel Ssenyonyi has called for the harmonisation of the anti- illicit Financial flows lagislation across jurisidiction to help close the loopholes that facilitate financial crime.
He made the appeal as he officially closed the African Organisation of Public Accounts Committee (AFROPAC) Conference and Fifth Annual General Meeting at Golden Tulip Hotel, Kampala.
The meeting mainly focused on advocating for increased training programs for PAC members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to effectively scrutinise public spending.
