Ruparelia Foundation treats over 5000 in Bukedea.

The Eye Camp is in memory of Rajive Ruparelia

Hundreds of people continue arriving at the Bukedea Teaching Hospital as the Ruparelia Foundation free eye care camp continues second day eye camp .

The Eye camp has so far attracted hundreds of  people who are taking advantage of the eye camp at Bukedea Teaching Hospital to seek guidance on various diseases affecting them.

The three day outreach organised by the Ruparelia Foundation and partners in memory and recognition of the Good work of the late Rajiv Ruparelia in communities will be running until Sunday.

Rajiv Ruparelia served as Managing Director of the Ruparelia Group but rose to fame due to his  naturally unique character, he confronted problems and found solutions, but his love for humanity was un regrettable.

As the country celebrates  his enduring vision of service and the legacy of compassion he left behind this is the second eye camp the Ruparelia family is conducting with the first one held a few years ago in Kamuli.

Sheena Ruparelia Rajives younger sister says irrespective of the huge turn out more than expected they will treat and reach out to those that have turned up.

Dr Sudhir Ruparelia Rajives farther says all those treated will be monitored before they are discharged.

Dr Lawrence Muganga the Vice Chancellor Victoria University a key partner says Bukedea shows that there we need to put our selves together, reflect and help ordinary people.
