The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah has today opened the 12th Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development at the UN Economic Commission for Africa Headquarters in Addis Ababa,Ethiopia.
As Chairperson of the Bureau of the 11th Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, the Premier outlined the successes achieved over the past year and commended all players for a successful one-year tenure.
“We come to the end of our tenure with a deep sense of fulfilment,” she said.
The forum, themed “Turning the Tide: Transformative and Coordinated Actions for the 2030 Agenda and the African Union’s Agenda 2063,” focuses on reviewing progress on SDGs 6, 7, 9, 11, and 17.
It brings together African ministers, senior government officials, policy experts, civil society, youth leaders, academics, and private sector representatives.
