Prime Minister Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah and Frederieke Quispel of the Kingdom of the Netherlands meet at OPM

The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah and Frederieke Quispel, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Uganda, jointly chaired a meeting convened at OPM to discuss issues of strategic mutual interest for the Government and its development partners.

The meeting also reviewed progress on the commitments made during the National Partnership Forum (NPF) in February.

The NPF is a key component of the National Partnership Dialogue Framework, which operationalises the National Partnership Policy and serves as a platform through which the Government engages with its Development Partners.

The forum is, among others, designed to facilitate coordination between the government and its development partners and increase the effectiveness of development assistance.

The NPF Technical Committee, chaired by the Head of Public Service, will meet next week to discuss the outcomes of today’s meeting and propose practical solutions to development financing challenges.
