It was a day of excitement filled with love as the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) administered civil marriage to 12 couples on valentine’s day.
According to NIIRA,Every person who is single, widowed or divorced, aged 18 years and above and is not party to a subsisting marriage is eligible to contract a civil Marriage.
The activities held on Valentine’s Day at Niira offices at kololo independence grounds were filled with joyful wedding couples who vowed never to leave each other until death separates them.
The vows were exchanged, and rings smoothly rolled onto fingers in presence of the registrar Rosemary Kisembo – the Chief Executive Officer – National Identification and Registration Authority.
