In coming state Minister for local government Hon Justine Nameere has assured the public of a corrupt free administration as she assumed office today.
She appealed to government officials and especially at the districts to desist from acts that may deny proper services to Ugandans mainly emphasizing transparency and fairness while executing their duties.
The official handover ceremony of the Minister and Minister of State for Local Government to the newly appointed Ministers took place at the ministry of Local Government Hqs in Kampala.

The new Ministers; Hon. Balaam Barugahara took over from Hon Raphael Magyezi while Hon. Justine Nameere took over from Victoria Rusoke at an event that ran under the theme “Welcoming the new political leadership for effective service delivery in Local Governments”.
The staff of the Ministry of Local Government warmly welcomed the two Ministers while out going Minister
Victoria Rusoke cited frustration from some corrupt officials who told the President that she did nothing while in government as a minister.
