President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the National Chairman of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) has rallied the people of Kawempe North to vote for a political party that understands and has solutions for their problems.
The President made the remarks last evening while campaigning for Ms. Faridah Nambi, the NRM flag bearer for the Kawempe North
parliamentary seat during a public rally at Mbogo Muslim Primary School grounds.
NRM candidate Faridah Nambi tightly faces the National Unity Platform (NUP) candidate Erias Nalukoola Luyimbaazi with 5 others ahead of tomorrows elections.
The seat fell vacant following the death of the area MP Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya in January,2025.
According to President Museveni, the people of Kawempe need to vote for a legislator who works with the government so that he/she can easily lobby for them, thus improving service delivery in the area.
