Church of Uganda and Paxtel Telecom sign partnership agreement. 

Church of Uganda has signed  a  partnership agreement with Paxtel Telecom and the wider Hamilton Telecom family, led by Chairman John Kamya, to jointly foster development initiatives in  the Church of Uganda.
The memorandum signed at the Provincial Secretaruate of the Church of Uganda  at Namirembe and witnessed by Mastercard Foundation an organisation that has played a significant role of helping the needy children access quality education.
At the signing ceremony the Arch Bishop represented Christians of Church of Uganda while Paxtel was represented by John Kamya the Chairnan Hamilton Telecom LTD.
This MoU marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between Paxtel and the Church of Uganda.
It presents a unique opportunity to harness the power of mobile technology to Create a unified communication channel that strengthens community engagement within the Church, Advance technology-driven service delivery across Church institutions, contributing to job creation for our youth;Establish a new, sustainable revenue stream without requiring capital investment; and  Promote financial literacy and inclusion among our members; and Enhance support for healthcare and social services.
The Archbishop has pledged to put into good use the vast resources and assets God has entrusted to the Church comprising of the Church land, institutions, and people—to fulfill the  vision of becoming a faster growing, sustainable, Christ-centered Church.
“We are already investing in mining, as some of our Dioceses have minerals on their land. We are strengthening agriculture, adding value to our produce, advancing education, health, and other ventures” says the Archbishop.
He says the partnership with Paxtel is not just a business venture but a Kingdom opportunity.
“We are hopeful that the Lord will bless this initiative to bear fruit for His glory and for the transformation of His people”
I believe Paxtel Telecom is a tool that will support the Church to counteract many new challenges  we are facing today.
It is, therefore, with joy that I announce that Paxtel Telecom has been officially designated as the Communication Partner of the Church of Uganda*, serving the entire Church ecosystem across the nation.
May this partnership flourish, may it empower our people, and may it serve as a testimony that the Church of Uganda is committed to innovative, sustainable, and God-honoring development he said.
