Cambridge Examinations- Deputy IGG speaks out. Allow children make informed choices on schools.

The Deputy inspector General of Government Dr Patricia Okiria is appealing to parents to allow their children to make informed choices so that they are able to determine the future of the carrier.

The call was made during the release of examination results an equivalent of A level examinations that took place earlier today at Vienna college Namugongo.

Ugandan students excelled mostly in sciences and social sciences.

Muhamed Kakiika the principal Vienna College Namugongo says whereas the performance was excellent the girls have outperformed boys, maintaining a 65 % lead against boys mainly in sciences and social sciences which has been attributed to the natural multi-tasking abilities, a good working environment and staff retention which has led to excellent performance year in, year out.

“We sat 145 A2 students and a bulk of them have excelled the many students who have starts to have 4 A stars you must have scored 90 and above, the bulk of them now qualify to join university”says Mr Kakiika.

Ugandan schools offering the cumbridge curriculum include Vienna college Namugongo which has the highest number of candidates Kabojja,Agakhan, International schools of Uganda, Kampala international school, Galaxy, Rainbow, Acons, Heritage,and Taibah schools.
