Hundreds of Ugandans voluntarily or forcefully participated in the cleaning as Government strives to promote sanitation in the country.

Every last Saturday of the month from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m .
The cleaning exercise that was kick started by the vice president Naj Jessica Alupo a d the Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah today was declared as a nationwide mandatory monthly community cleaning exercise .
This is aimed at improving sanitation and public health in Uganda.
