Today, Zimbabwe  officially launches  Zimbabwe’s Review Report of the ⁠African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) at the New Parliament Building in Mt Hampden, an event President Mnagangwa marks as “a significant milestone in the country’s governance trajectory, policy innovations, and socio-economic reforms.”
Her Excellency, Major (Rtd) Jessica Rose Epel Alupo the vice President of Uganda is  in the Capital Harare, representing President Museveni at the ⁠African Peer Review Mechanism Forum (APRM) of Heads of State and Government.

The African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) is a mutually agreed instrument voluntarily acceded to by the member states of the African Union (AU) as a self-monitoring mechanism.
APRM was launched on 9 March 2003 by the New  Partnership for Development  (NEPAD) Heads of State and Government Implementation Committee.
President Emerson said “Uganda and Zimbabwe share deep-rooted relations with shared Pan-African values between Zimbabwe and Uganda. Her presence is a testament to our continent’s collective commitment to self-assessment and African solutions to African challenges.”
the Vice president upon arrival  paid a courtesy visit to President Emerson Mnagagwa at the ⁠Munhumutapa Building and of behalf of the President Museveni who is current chair of the APRM and people of Uganda  held bilateral discussions on trade and other issues.
