Government is conducting a review of its  performance in delivering services to Ugandans.
 The review is assessing the progress that government has made on health ,Education, Agriculture and other essential services.
 The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah made the remarks at the opening ceremony of a two-day workshop for the Joint Regional Development Programme Annual Review 2025, at the Speke Resort Convention Center.
 
Organised by the Ministry of Local Government, which is the Regional Development Programme Secretariat, the workshop is running theme “Deepening Decentralisation to Improve Service Delivery.”
 The workshop is reviewing the performance of the Programme over the period 2020/21 to 2024/25, within the framework of National Development Plan III (NDP III).
 
 Nabbanja noted that the review will provide a platform to assess progress, address challenges, and strengthen coordination to improve the quality of life for all Ugandans.
 She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to sustainable regional development, Public Private Partnerships, women’s economic empowerment, and ensuring development benefits for all Ugandans.
 Ministers, CAOs, RDCs, LCV Chairpersons,Mayors are the main participants.
